The Newcastle Art Gallery Youth Advisory Group acknowledges the Awabakal and Worimi people as the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and live, and pay our deepest respects to Elders past, present and future. The Youth Advisory Group is dedicated to honouring the culture and traditions of our local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities through the visual arts.

Tegan Kinder is the founder and sole designer for Cold Sun, a small fashion label based in Newcastle. Focusing on strong people in a strong clothes, not only just the aesthetic but the fabric choices too. Tegan's first collection Night Witches debuted in 2018, and a groundbreaking new collection is dropping very soon. Tegan also specialises in embroidery, soft sculpture and custom fabric design.
